Ok, we're about to release our Blingee style script and we want you to have a peek!

It's done with javascript and php rather than flash. Before we invest our time into incorporating flash we want to gauge the interest in this type of script.

This is NOT another Doll script.

1. It allows you to upload a background photo/image
2. And you can pimp your photo with animated gifs (stamps)
3. It uses ajax to page through stamps

There are actually a lot of different applications that can done with this script as a base, which we will get into down the road.

Here's the demo => http://invent.creativeaftermath.com/ImageScript/

Enjoy! And your feedback is always welcomed

Well my input on this. I just tried out the demo and i can only get one pic out of the six i tried to actually upload. Also i would say it needs much better animations then what i see. To me i never see anyone using the dolls anymore i could be wrong tho.

A couple things to remember:

Right now it is uploading to imageshack which may change due to imageshack not always uploading the end result properly.

Your background image must not exceed the server's maximum allowed upload size.

The animation depends on the quality of the stamp that's being used.

Drop the image on the canvas to activate it, and then move the image to the desired location.

We're still trying to put together a starter pack of stamps and then we can set a price.

Did you drag each image to the canvas and then move it into position? What browser are you using?

Would we be able to add our own stamps to the tool?

yes, you can create your own stamps. These are just transparent animated gif files. It'll be a drag and drop (ftp) operation.

when available?

We'll make it available in a week. It's actually ready but I'm just organizing a starter pack of stamps and working out special deals with designers.

Not bad, easy to use I'd say. I don't if a lot of people would get it right from the start (obv. saw from the earlier posts). I think its easy to use I'm not a big fan of all those dolls so I would hope that the started pack isn't like 75% dolls.

For those of you that have PMed me regarding this script, it should be available soon.
We just want to add a starter pack, and do some testing before it's release, I'll ask Slickeddie to update us on this as soon as he is available to do so ;)

I have a suggestion and question before it is realeased. Is there a way for people to type there own animated comments on this? Also before it is realeased will there be many more animations added to it? Or would it be possible to add a way for people to create there own types of animations or typed text that would save to the server for others to use?

In response to your questions

1. type in animated comments. Not in this release. We will need various alpha sets created before this can happen

2. The initial release will not have a starter pack. We will provide 100+ stamps in the week ahead though. Also we'll identify "existing" graphic packs that will work well with the script. I have 200 transparent animated graphic comments that I purchased for $15. I will showcase this soon

3. Yes, you can create your own animations. All you would need is to ftp it to your site
